THE STATE REGIONAL ARCHIVE AT PRAGUE
----------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Mrs. Doctor Wyborney:

We are sending you the requested genealogic information that we were able to find in church records concerning Jan Vyborny, Anna Ruzick[ov]a and their parents.

In our search our beginning point was the birth record of Jan Vyborny (Vejborny) who was born in Vitezov (in German it is Siegfeld), house # 37, born 9/20/1840, of protestant confession, the son of Jan Vyborny and Anna, maiden name Ruzick[ov]a.
the region of Krechor   the region of KH   the region of Krakovany - Radovesnice[II]
This record is in the birth registry of the Roman Catholic parochial office in Velim from 1828-1841, sign. M 8-19/4, page 158. This is what it says about his parents:

Jan Vejborny [6Jan(*1811)], of Helvetian confession, land owner (familiant) from Siegfeld, legal son of Josef Vejborny, retired, who resides at Libenice 8 and his wife Alzbeta, maiden name Rezac[ova] from Libenice 5, both from Kolin district.
Anna, of Catholic confession, daughter of Vaclav Ruzicka, house owner in Lhota N.C.-., Malesov district, and his wife Anna, maiden name Miskovsky from Horany 16, Kutna Hora district.

The baptism of Jan's father, Jan Vyborny, is recorded in the birth registry of the Roman Catholic parochial office in Kank for the years 1784-1877, sign. M 10-1K/3, page 260. The most important part of this record is:

3)Josef Vyborny [7Josef(*1779)] was born around in 1775 according to the age given at the time of his marriage. However, according to the age when he died he should have been born around 1779 (See further).
Kresetice - (Pucher) - Mocovice Both these records give the place of birth as Pucher (Puker), which is part of the Kresetice district. His father is Jan Vyborny [8Jan(*1747)]. In the birth registry books corresponding to this time at the Roman Catholic parochial office in Cirkvice for the settlement of Pucher, sign. M 10-2/3 and 9 for 1743-1786 and 1766-1807 we did not find record of the baptism of Josef Vyborny. The first child of Jan Vyborny, which was born in Pucher 3, was his daughter Anna. She was baptized on 10/29/1783. The other 6 children were born between 1786-1796 in Pucher 7. The mother of these children was listed as Alzbeta: her maiden name was not recorded.
The children of Jan Vyborny and Alzbeta were of Protestant (Helvetian) confession and their baptisms were also duplicated in the oldest Evangelic registry of the parochial office in Caslav (inventory num. 1 from years 1785-1800). In that registry their mother was listed as Alzbeta, maiden name Kratka.

Kresetice - Pucher - Mocovice

We have been looking for the birth record and baptism record of Josef Vyborny, the son of Jan and Alzbeta, maiden name Kratka, in the registry books of all the parishes of related settlements in the Kresetice district where they may have been registered, that is in the books of the Roman Catholic parochial offices in Kutna Hora, Cervene Janovice, Cestin, Bykan, Rataje over Sazava river, Sudejov, Uhlirske Janovice, Zbraslavice and Trebotin[see also the index of localities]. We have found the baptismal records of 4 other children of Jan and Alzbeta Vyborny that were born in Umonin (Jan, baptized on 10/15/1770 - Roman Catholic parochial office in Bykan) and in the court in Cerniny (Katerina, baptized on 1/18/1773. Vaclav baptized on 10/11/1774 and Anna baptized on 3/25/1777 - Roman Catholic parochial office in Zbraslavice). Jan Vyborny served in Cerniny's farm as a supervisor.
Unfortunately, we couldn't find the place where he lived in the years 1775-1776 and 1777-1782 and where his son Josef was born.

Josef Vyborny was married on 1/14/1800, record of the marriage is in the registry of marriages of the Roman Catholic church office in Grunta for 1784-1877, sign. M 8-16G/1, page 197:

Religion: Protestant
Age: 24
Single
Bride:  Name of bride: Alzbeta, daughter of Jiri Rzezaca, farmer
Religion: Protestant
Age: 17
Single

The death of Josef Vyborny [7Josef(*1779)]is recorded in the death registry of the Roman Catholic parochial office in Grunta for 1784-1787, sign. M 8-16G/2, page 63:

House number: (Libenice) 8
The name of the deceased person:   Joseph Weiborny, Bauerauszugler [retired farmer], born in Puker, buried by Johann Santrucek, Helvetian pastor in Libenice.
Religion: Protestant
Sex: male
Age: 65
Illness and cause of death: Laut Todtenbeshau since 31st of May 1844 blood or Skorbut [Scurvy] (some words are in German).

4) Alzbeta Rezac[ov]a was not born in the place where she lived during her marriage, that is in Libenice. Her father settled there with his family some time before 1786 (his son Jan was born in Libenice 9 and baptized 9/11/1786).
In the baptismal record (Roman Catholic parochial office in Kank from the years 1762-1792, baptismal section, without numbering of pages) his father was listed as

"Georgius Rzezaca rusticus Sendraticensisî",

that is Jiri Rezac farmer from Sendrazice. The village of Sendrazice was belonged to the Roman Catholic parochial office in Ovcary:
In the book from 1778-1800, sign. M 8-12/2, in the baptismal section, page 27, we found the baptismal record of Alzbeta. From this follows that she was born in Osek (now it is Velky Osek in Kolin county):
Anno 1782 in mense januario [Year 1782 in month of January]
Dies nativitatis [Day of birth]: 25th in pago Wossek nata
Dies baptism [Day of baptism]: 26th
Infans [The name of the child]: Elisabetha
Parentes [Parents]: Georgius Rzezacz rusticus Anna uxor [farmer and wife Anna]

We could not find the death record of Alzbeta Vyborna maiden name Rezac[ova]. It is not in the books of the Roman Catholic parish office in Kank (Libenice) (and Velim Vitezov), nor in the books of the Evangelic parish offices of Libenice and Velim. It is probable that she died after 1844 (Josef Vyborny is not shown as a widower at the time of his death), or at the place of onee of her children.

5) Vaclav Ruzicka, the father of Anna Ruzick[ov]a, came from Losanky in parish Losany:
The record of his baptism is in the registry of births of the Roman Catholic parish office in Losany for 1784-1808, sign. M 8-14/4, page 126.

Both are belonging to Kutna Hora district.

According to a name index to the registry of births, marriages and deaths of the Roman Catholic parochial office in Bykan for 1805-1842, sign. M 10-6/29, Josefa Ruzickova died in Dolni Lhota on 7/22/1838 at the age of 39.
