Dear Louise! These are our grandparents and parents on both sides. We know very little about them. Joseph Wyborny--born Feb. 9, 1841. Died,1915. Anna Vladyka--born, Dec. 24, 1839. Died,1917. John S. Wyborny--born, Dec. 24, 1870. Died,1931 Marie Skorepa Wyborny was born June 29, 1873. Died,1938. Pa came to the US in 1908, with your oldest Sister Marie. Direct to Hartford, Conn. Uncle Joseph Skorepa and Aunt Louise had no children, and they want your sister Marie to be with them. Later, Pa was to go home to Pecky in Czechoslovakia. So, he worked at P&W, Co., and played with the Foot Guard Band, to save enough money to go back. He sent Mother a few Dollars every week, but poor Ma was very lonesome and sold our house. And, in March 1910, Mother, Jerry, Josephine, Anna, and three-year-old brother Johnny traveled from Pecky to Prague, Czechoslovakia. Then in second class to Bremen, Germany. By boat named Bremen, arrived in New York, June 6th, and the next day by train to the city of Hartford, Conn., to our father's surprise, here we were. And thanks to God, he guided us here. Pa had a job, 9 dollars a week, and I started for 10 cents an hour. Rent on Howard Street was monthly 9$, with 37$ on hand and seven of us, started a new life in a new country. U.S. of America. Six years later, you were born on York St. #50. Before you was Rose, but she died a year later. Mother had eight of us children, Jerry, Marie, Jorplein, Anna, John, Rose-Rose & Louise, 1st Rose born in Czechia and 2nd Rose in the U.S.A. Hartford, Conn, 19th Howard St.

Came To the U.S.A., June 1910. Located in Hartford, Conn., June 1910 Dad, John Wyborny-came to U.S.A. Year & a half before us children & Ma. Uncle Joseph Skorepa with Aunt Loise had no children of their own. So, they asked Dad if Marie Could Come to America, and They would Bring Her up, so Pa came with her.
